Is a deposit required?
Yes. Your security deposit is deposited with a public entity, as required by law, and is returned within 30 days after departure if the apartment is in the same condition as when you moved in.
What do you do with my deposit?
Your bond is registered with a public entity as required by law. It is then returned approximately 30 days after your departure, if the apartment is in the condition in which it was rented.
Why do I have to pay a deposit if I am already insured?
Accidents are covered by insurance. However, the security deposit covers the possible misuse of the furniture and appliances in the apartment.
